Sorry I’ve been gone for some time. It’s been a bit crazy these past few weeks. I’ve been going through diagnosis while my husband got a new job in a different state and we packed our lives up once again and we moved. I will share my update on my health soon, I promise.
It was a struggle having to emotionally go through all of this health stuff while dealing with my anxiety and depression and moving. It was a struggle to physically go through all of these tests and then have to go back and pack or move things. We finally made it though. I’m in another new state, but we are still in driving distance to family. We wish we were much closer (a little over 5 hours drive), but it’s better than being across the country.
Our apartment is still a mess, and there is a lot left to do. I spent most days last week getting things unpacked and put away last week which was probably a bad idea as it has left me spent this week, but it was giving me anxiety and it kept me busy. Now that things have slowed down though, my anxiety and depression have started to peak again. I’m starting an anti-depressant but it takes about a month to start feeling any effects. I’m hoping once we get more settled in, my anxiety will calm itself more too.
This week I’m focusing on keeping calm in the chaos, finding recipes that work with my new food restrictions, and finding some new volunteerships and meetups in this new city I’m living in. Hopefully, we can get the rest of the things we need to take to storage out of the house and the rest of the projects done, so our apartment will be set up and complete.
I’m working on my health update and some other posts this week as well, so keep a lookout. Hopefully, I’ll have my desk setup this week – and I can start creating more visual content again! I’ve missed that so much.
